Gubi Turbo pendant lamp in two sizes

The Gubi Turbo was first designed by Louis Weisdorf in 1965 and developed into a bestseller for the Danish lighting manufacturer. It represents the first collaboration between Gubi and the designer Louis Weisdorf. This pendant lamp consists of twelve matt white aluminum lamellas, the outer lamellas having a curved shape to prevent glare. The lamp emits its light in all directions. The vertical lamellas are arranged vertically offset so that the lamp is very resistant to dust. The pendant light is available in two different sizes. It is offered with a diameter of 36 cm or a diameter of 62 cm. The length of the cable is 380 cm and it can be shortened if necessary. A E27 high-voltage halogen lamp with a maximum power of 70 watts is used as a light source for both sizes. The inspiration for the lamp was Japanese rice paper, the lightness of which is reflected in the appearance of the light.
