Foscarini Kurage 
The Foscarini Kurage looks like a jellyfish, no wonder Kurage in Japanese is namely jellyfish. The table lamp was designed by Luca Nichetto and the designers Nendo as a tribute for this sea animal. As the material for the white diffuser Washi paper is used made in Japan from mulberry fibers. The diffuser rests on four thin legs from untreated ash wood.
A fluorescent lamp having a maximum output of 12 watts is used as light source for this Foscarini lamp. The lamp holder is made of white ceramics. The cable is wrapped with paper fibers. The amount of Kurage table lamp is 49 cm, the length is 30 cm and the diffuser has a diameter of 34 cm.
