Catellani & Smith Francesca

The Francesca by Catellani & Smith is characterized by a circular diffuser plate that acts as shade. The wall lamp itself is made of aluminum, the wall bracket with a diameter of 12 cm and a height of 11.5 cm is made of iron. Like many Catellani & Smith lamps: The lamp is available with different surfaces for the diffuser. Silver leaf, copper, white or gold leaf are offered.

The surface of the shade is not irregular but smooth. For all but the white version, the back side has the same colour as the front side. Only the white version is kept on the back in gold, creating a shiny golden light which is cast on the wall.

As bulbs in the Catellani & Smith Francesca eight E27 LED lamps are used, which are exchangeable. The bulbs are located behind the diffuser plate, thereby the light is emitted onto the wall and a shiny ring appears around the wall lamp.

The ledge of the Catellani and Smith Francesca from the wall is about 12 cm. There are available two different sizes: 80 or 120 cm in diameters. The wall holder always has the same dimensions at any size.
