The Louis Poulsen PH Artichoke 600 was designed by Poul Henningsen in 1958 for the restaurant Langelinie Pavillonen in Copenhagen. It still hangs there. This version has a diameter of 60 cm. The PH Artichoke 600 radiates a completely dazzle-free light. It consists of 72, lapping one on top of the other, leaves spread over 12 single rows. These leaves illuminate the lamp itself while they radiate an overall symmetrical diffuse light. This lamp provides for a decorative as well as a comfortable light.
Louis Poulsen offers the PH Artichoke 600 in the surfaces stainless steel matt, stainless steel polished, brass, copper or white. The supply line is 4 m in length but is can be shortened, according to any needs.
