The Lightyears Avion is an oval-shaped pendant lamp, Zeppelins served as inspiration for it. The design team ISKOS Berlin (consisting of Aleksej Iskos and Boris Berlin), designed it in 2015 and created with it a light with considerable size which nevertheless conveys a light impression. This impression should also stirred by the materials used: The white ABS and the polyethylene of the lamp body is transparent so that the light of the bulb emits into the room. So the Avion emits a soft, diffused light.

Especially when several Avions be used behind or next to each other, these pendant lamps achieves their best effect. So they are ideal for lighting of corridors, canteens and other large spaces. This lamp is operated with two halogen lamps for its E27 sockets.

The cable length is 6 m, the dimensions of the lamp are 34.2 cm high and 85 cm length. The ceiling mount is supplied in chrome. For adjusting the suspension of the Avion flexible, also an adjustable canopy is on offer as an accessory, which allows to hang the pendant light differently tilted.
